Summer's Last Hurrah

Summer's last hurrah hangs in there at times in the great northeast. But it's easy to take it for granted because we've been used to the milder weather for months straight. That's how relationships can become. Familiarity may not breed contempt, but it can spawn an un-sacred lackadaisical attitude for who's right in front of us. PORTAL TO HEAVEN: God's extended blessings are supposed to open our eyes to portals to heaven, not coax us into elongated indifference.
